Volunteers don’t necessarily have the time, they just have A HUGE HEART. 💗

Volunteer for Education

Contributing to education is a sustainable and impactful way to empower the next generation.

Be a teacher, an assistant, be a librarian, an administrator, be a system developer, a researcher, be a singer or dancer, or a creative person! We would love to have you and make a difference together.

Volunteer for Health

We protect the human right to quality healthcare for marginalized Burmese families in Thailand.

Volunteers help us with all sorts of activities, such as teaching basic health education to all ages at the migrant learning centers. In community outreach events, we focus on infectious diseases, HIV/TB, Family Planning, and First Aid. Volunteers can also help with daily administrative tasks and fundraising activities — there is much to do and we welcome you!

Volunteer to Defend Rights

We protect basic human rights while promoting decent work and inclusive development for Burmese migrants in Thailand.

Go out in communities with the migrant development team to provide rights protection training, survey the needs of migrants, go on fact-finding missions, and help document and report these.

To make a difference in someone’s life, you don’t have to be brilliant, rich, beautiful, or perfect.

You just have to care and act.

We understand you may have questions that need answering.

FAQ by Volunteers

Absolutely! Volunteers are of immense value to us as they make all the difference. If you’re looking into volunteering, please send us a message through the form above. Include why, when, and for how long you would like to volunteer with us.

Yes, you can! That would mean the world to us. The impact of our work entirely depends on the available funds and resources, donated by people like you. Please have a look at our donation page to find out what is needed. Some donation forms include a tickbox for “recurring donation”.

Our main office is located in beautiful touristic Khao Lak, in Phang Nga province, Southern Thailand. We sit conveniently on highway 4, 90 minutes north of Phuket Airport, and are just 5 minutes away from the beach (find us Google Maps). Our core programs are managed from here. We also have an office and team in Mae Sot, North-west-Thailand, that mainly work on projects within the Migrant Development program.

In Myanmar we have offices at 3 locations; Kawthaung, Yangon, and Loikaw. Projects in Myanmar are mainly focused on safe migration, peacebuilding, youth education, and human rights protection.
